A Record Setup (if you have a Dedicated IP)
If you have bought a dedicated IP address, you can use this article to set up an A record.1
Set your domain up on Cloudflare
Set your domain up in Cloudflare using this guide. This should not take more than 10 minutes.

A Record Configuration
Go to the DNS tab after setup, then add a new A Record by clicking
New and selecting A Record from the dropdown. Enter the subdomain that you would like to use as the connection link. Set your IPv4 address in the Value section. Remember to leave the TTL on automatic, and turn off the Cloudflare proxy by turning the orange cloud to gray.3
SRV Record (if you have a shared IP address)
Go to the DNS tab after setup. If you’d like to add an SRV record as well as your A record (you need to make both if you don’t have a port such as
:25565, meaning you use a shared IP), click New and select SRV Record. If you are setting up a Minecraft server, for example, your service should be _minecraft, the protocol should be TCP, TTL should be set to Auto, and the weight should be set to 0. Set the Port to the server’s port (the part after the : in your server’s IP address), and replace the target field with whatever you set your A record to. If your domain is test123.xyz, then set your target to play.test123.xyz. This applies to any SRV record you need to set.
