The harder way
First, log in to our game panel, click on your server, stop your server, then navigate to the sidebar. You’ll see lots of options, but don’t get overwhelmed, it’s not as complicated as it seems.1
Download your plugins from a trusted source
We recommend downloading plugins from trusted sources only. Other sources run the risk of giving you a virus. Trusted sources include Modrinth, SpigotMC, and more.

Adding the mods correctly
Open the File Manager and open the folder named
plugins. If you don’t see this folder, you haven’t set PaperMC up correctly. Upload the .jar file into the plugins folder. If it’s a .zip archive, extract it using 7-Zip, WinRAR, or the built-in Windows tool. If the file is too large, use WinSCP or FileZilla to access your files and add the plugin.3
Test the plugin
Start your server back up and connect to it using your credentials. Check that the plugin is installed and present, then test it. If it works, enjoy the plugin. If it doesn’t, contact our team for support.
The easy way
Log in to our game panel and click on the server you want to add plugins to. Stop the server, then navigate to the sidebar. You’ll see a lot of options, but don’t get overwhelmed. Just navigate to the Launchpad tab, which is under the Settings dropdown. Navigate to the plugins tab and search for the plugin you want to install. It’ll show the plugin description and ask if you’d like to select a specific version. Depending on your situation, you might need to select a specific version.
